About Course
Many have no idea that creeds and confessions are an essential aid to Christian growth, and that the quality of our spiritual life is directly dependent on our understanding of spiritual truth. – Gerald Bray (Theologian)
If you want to grow in the Christian life, I suspect your first thought wouldn’t be learning all about a creed that was written centuries ago. Which is a real shame, because the centuries-old creeds are, as Gerald Bray said, an “essential aid to Christian growth”. The creeds summarise Christian faith and the teaching of the Bible. They help us to grasp the big picture so we can understand the Bible better, as well as our own lives.
This course looks at the Apostles’ Creed, one of the earliest Christian confessions of faith, and will help us to grow in what it means to be a Christian.
