As a former professional software developer, one day someone suggested that I created a game to help people learn more about the Bible. It struck me as a good idea to help people Understand the Bible in a different way. It’s still a bit of an experiment, but I hope this is helpful and please do let me know what you think!
Bible Flashcards
This game shows you a random verse from anywhere in the Bible, and you have to answer where it comes from. You will be given a question with multiple choice answers. There are four types of question you could be asked, chosen at random:
- Whether the verse comes from Old or New Testament;
- Which section of the Bible the verse comes from (e.g. Law, Prophets, Epistles, etc);
- Which specific book the verse comes from;
- Which word has been removed from the verse.
I hope this game is a fun and entertaining way of engaging with the Bible, especially in getting to know parts of the Bible you might not be familiar with.
